With my dual interests in technology and politics, in my final semester at Clark Unviersity, I chose to take an independent study course where I researched the impacts of artificial intelligence on US national security and global relations. I spent the semester reading and analyzing different academic readings for an understanding on the reality of the AI security landscape, developing my findings into a paper for the end of the course. My work focuses on how advancements in AI and related technologies pose threats to US national security and what can be done to mitigate and combat those threats, presenting a case study on autonomous weapons to understand example policies and responses.
